I agree, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance was way better than Supreme Commander 2. I use Hex Edit for everything so far.This is the part where I really could use the help of everybody who allready worked on this.I now there's a link but I cant find it, it grinds my gears!I have some thoughts on how maps are build.They used the same setup as in Forged Alliance, with an terrain/heightmap.On top of this map a 3d model is placed, because of the big size its possible to move units.In example building an engineer in a factory when finished it moves itself to a point.So the developers could have used the exact same 3d tool for creating the map object and units.
